The Choir of King's College, Cambridge, is one of today's most accomplished and renowned representatives of the great British choral tradition. Directed by Stephen Cleobury, it derives much of its fame from the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, broadcast worldwide to millions on Christmas Eve every year.

--> This performance is an LMP Critic's Pick: "The legendary Choir of King’s College, Cambridge comes for a one night visit to Seattle, performing as a special performance at Benaroya Hall under its equally legendary organist and choir conductor, Stephen Cleobury. No matter what they sing, the sound and quality are awesome, the result of careful training which has gone on since 1441, when the choir was instituted to sing daily in the King’s Chapel." ~ Philippa Kiraly

(Critic's Picks are selected for the LMP by Seattle music critics Philippa Kiraly and Thomas May.)
