SMCO presents a chamber music performance in collaboration with the Seattle Art Museum, part of the visiting exhibition Seeing Nature. In this collaboration with SAM, SMCO musicians will perform music of composers living in the same period as the artists featured in the exhibition, highlighting connections between visual and musical art inspired by natural landscapes.
The program will be performed inside the gallery alongside works of art in the exhibition, and will preview Hearing Nature on Friday, March 17, a performance of the full Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra.
