sound|counterpoint: The Red Earth Project
$10-$20
The Red Earth Project was one of the most popular programs of sound|counterpoint's 2015/16 season, and we’re excited to do a repeat performance on Bainbridge Island! Curated for us by Seattle composer Adam Haws, this program contains plenty of early music favorites, a re-imagining of a solo violin sonata by Bach, tunes from jazz and rock greats, and the Bainbridge premiere of two works written specifically for period instruments! Our good friend Christine Wilkinson Beckman joins us on viola. This is a special collaboration that spans centuries and genres – you won’t want to miss it!
Admission: $20 ($10 youth)
