Reprising our 2014 collaboration, Roman conducts a unique orchestra highlighting current members and alumni of Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, alongside professional mentors, in a program featuring works by Reena Esmail, Christopher Theofanidis, Jessie Montgomery, and the world premiere of a new composition by the jazz-influenced composer Gregg Kallor.
Seattle music critic Philippa Kiraly: "Don’t ever dismiss the SYSO as being amateurish. It isn’t. These kids are near professional standard and always worth hearing."
Admission: $20 general , $15 Town Hall members, $10 youth (21 and under), $5 TeenTix members.
