The Daphnes feature Monica Schley (harp and voice), Nate Omdal (bass) and Julie Baldridge (violin). This unconventional group draws sounds from neo-folkster M. Ward, 90’s alternative bands Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies, and jazz musicians Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane. Original compositions and the occasional familiar tune cover song.
