A leading soloist, chamber musician and flutist with the acclaimed Imani Winds, Brandon Patrick George makes his 92Y debut with pianist Bryan Wagorn in an adventurous program showcasing the range of his repertoire and passions. The rich and varied program couples exquisite works for flute by Schubert, Romantic composer Carl Reinecke and French composer Lili Boulanger with pioneering composer William Grant Still’s impressionistic Pastorela, and award-winning flutist and composer Valerie Coleman’s powerful tone poem Wish Sonatine, depicting the historic Middle Passage journey across the Atlantic by enslaved Africans. A program that offers a mesmerizing dialogue between the past and the future.

The broadcast will begin at 4:30pm Pacific / 7:30pm Eastern.

The concert stream will be available to ticket buyers for one full week from the time of broadcast. View it live, or at your convenience!
