The legendary Manuel Barrueco is internationally recognized as one of the greatest guitar masters of our time. A superb instrumentalist and elegant musician, he is praised for his sumptuous sound and uncommon lyrical gifts. Over three decades of performing and nurturing the next generations of classical guitarists, he has helped bring classical guitar to the world’s most important music centers. With it, he has brought a commitment to the expansion of the guitar repertoire. Barrueco returns to our stage with a program that travels from late Renaissance Italy to 20th-century Mexico, and ranges from graceful Baroque sonatas to color-drenched folk-inspired works.

The broadcast will begin at 4:30pm Pacific / 7:30pm Eastern.
