Franz Schubert – Quartettsatz in C minor, D. 703
Felix Mendelssohn – String Quartet No. 2 in A minor, Op. 13
Maurice Ravel – String Quartet in F major

Join the New York Philharmonic String Quartet for an evening of music in true chamber music style—four superb artists playing music they love.

First, a thunderstorm seems to interrupt a Viennese ball in Franz Schubert's miniature for string quartet, the Quartettsatz. Then, the Quartet performs Mendelssohn’s marvelous A minor Quartet and concludes with Ravel's String Quartet, in which soaring melodies are juxtaposed with folk dance, culminating in an exultant finale.

The broadcast will begin at 4:30pm Pacific / 7:30pm Eastern.

The concert stream will be available to ticket buyers for one full week from the time of broadcast. View it live, or at your convenience!
