Benaroya Hall’s Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall plays host to the opening of the Seattle Music Exchange's inaugural season of programming, which highlights composers of Seattle and its sister cities. Angelo Rondello will perform works by Seattle composers Samuel Jones, Peter Vukmirovic Stevens, Angelique Poteat, and Adam Haws. Following this, he takes this program on tour to Seattle’s sister cities in Hungary, Italy, Norway, and Japan, and wraps the season with a final concert at Benaroya Hall on May 11 featuring music by sister city composers.

An acclaimed pianist, Rondello founded the Seattle Music Exchange in 2016 to give voice to Seattle’s cultural identity and to cultivate its connections with other cultures around the world. The unique program brings local performers and composers to audiences at home and abroad through concerts, residencies, and educational programs.
