Atlanta Chamber Players presents a concert which concludes the sixth cycle of our Rapido! 14-Day Composition Contest. This concert is the final round of the competition. Hundreds of composers were tasked – in just 14 days – to write a short work to encapsulate the extraordinary time many of us are grappling with and the major changes in both the personal and professional lives of everyday people due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Music Director Robert Spano will lead an esteemed judging panel as we select a grand prize-winning composer from our five talented finalists.
The livestream will take place at 3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific. Broadcasting live from The Hill Auditorium at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA.
