For each home Pillar Development builds in the US, we are committed to building a small home for an underprivileged family in a developing country. The Home for Home Program consists of the Youngquist family, and many friends from around the world.

In 2010, Home for Home Program built seven houses over the course of five trips to Mexico. In those seven houses, several families got a fresh start, one family’s livelihood was restored with a candy store addition, and an adult drug rehabilitation program received housing for 10-12 people. Home for Home also got to help support HOPE Foursquare Church from Snohomish, WA build a church in our favorite little community of Lomas del Pedregal. During each trip, we got to share the love of Jesus with locals from many communities in the greater Tijuana area. Several hundred people found salvation in Jesus Christ as a result of those times. On top of that, we were able to pray for many folks with disabilities and pain and watch the healing power of Jesus sweep through whole communities. We got to witness children freed from seizures, folks with debilitating pain dance with joy down the streets, a bed-ridden woman completely healed from cancer, and many more wonderful miracles. And through it all, we changed ourselves. Any person that took part in a trip will tell you that it was life-changing.
