Join us for select scenes from Tomás de Torrejòn y Velasco’s one-act opera La Púrpura de la Rosa. The opera was performed at BLEMF 2019 under the direction of Nell Snaidas and music directed by Sarah Cranor, in collaboration with the IU Historical Performance Institute and the IU Latin American Music Center.
The broadcast begins at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern.
