Dorian Wallace – It Is One-Hundred Seconds to Midnight

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, composer Dorian Wallace wrote this It Is One-Hundred Seconds to Midnight to raise awareness, inspire action, and raise mutual aid.

Collaborating with 16 pianists and 32 dancers from around the globe, the video will premiere on Facebook and YouTube on Earth Day, April 22, 8pm Eastern (5pm Pacific). Links to watch will be posted here: https://www.facebook.com/events/531470527516939/

In January 2020, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists set the Doomsday Clock to 100 seconds to midnight due to looming existential threats of nuclear war, climate change, disruptive technologies and most recently the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the closest to midnight the Clock has ever been set.

All donations will be split between the Union of Concerned Scientists and the Earth Day Network. The time to act is now. For Earth!

Note: Livestream concerts are subject to change without notice. If a livestream doesn’t take place, we hope you’ll visit the performers’ websites to explore their recorded performances, or discover another group to listen to online!
