The Houston-based professional ensemble ROCO is excited to offer free weekly livestream rebroadcasts of our past In Concert performances, featuring the full 40-piece chamber orchestra. Each broadcast will take place at 12pm (Pacific), and can be found on both our website and Facebook page, where our guest artists join us each week for chat and Q&A.

The final concert of ROCO's 14th season, “The Wrestler,” featured the world premiere of Erberk Eryılmaz’s Wrestling Airs for Two Davuls and Chamber Orchestra (in memory of Koca Yusuf) – showcasing the festivity and drama of a traditional Turkish wrestling match, and honoring the legendary 19th century wrestler, with ROCO percussionists Matthew McClung and Christina Carroll as davul soloists. Conductor David Danzmayr returned to ROCO with one of his favorite pieces, Jocelyn Morlock’s Solace, and Grammy-winning organ soloist Paul Jacobs returned for Samuel Barber’s showcase Toccata Festiva. Recorded live May 4, 2019, at The Church of St. John the Divine, Houston, TX, with videography by Blueprint Film Co.

The broadcast will take place at 2pm Central / 12pm Pacific.
