Ian Pomerantz, bass-baritone
Andrew Fouts and Ingrid Matthews, violins
Elisabeth Reed, cello
Byron Schenkman, harpsichord

Handel’s chamber cantatas for bass voice are full of youthful passion, gorgeous melodies, and sometimes even a bit of humor. We are delighted to present the Seattle debut of bass-baritone Ian Pomerantz in two of these wonderful works, including Dalla guerra amorosa (“From the war of love”), along with Italian Baroque instrumental works featuring violinists Andrew Fouts and Ingrid Matthews, cellist Elisabeth Reed, and harpsichordist Byron Schenkman.
