Cascade Symphony opens its 55th season with a tapestry of musical gems, with a hint of Halloween. Yuka Sasaki will perform the Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1. Ms. Sasaki studied piano in her native Tokyo, and did her graduate studies with Bela Siki at the University of Washington. She has concertized around the world. Currently on the faculty at the Music Department of Seattle Central College, she also maintains a studio from which her students have won numerous awards, and been accepted to some of the world's foremost music schools and conservatories.
