Choral Arts Northwest

St. Joseph Parish, Seattle, WA

Bob McCaffery-Lent, guitar

Each year, Artistic Director Robert Bode develops a holiday program for our Christmas performances that is a little different from the norm. In addition to heavily featuring new music (much of which is commissioned by Choral Arts Northwest) the program is intended as much to be a contemplation of the season as it is a concert, and a respite from what is usually a very harried time of year.

This year is no different and will continue the annual traditions of collaborating with local guitarist Bob McCaffery-Lent, performing the program live on 98.1 Classical KING FM (Friday, December 9) and ending on the beautifully reflective Shaker tune “Not One Sparrow is Forgotten.” These holiday performances will also feature our first world premiere of the 2016-17 performance season, a new Christmas commission from local composer (and CANW soprano) Jessica French!

This concert often sells out – so purchase tickets to one of the Seattle performances quickly!
