Dreams of Love and Laughter highlights piano and vocal music from two early 20th-century visionary composers, Mompou (Spain) and Poulenc (France). This hour-long concert will be charged with pieces that express dreamlike depictions of love and laughter. Carissa Castaldo of Seattle Opera brings to life poetry and lyrical line that will leave you breathless while luscious harmonies and eccentric rhythms accompany her on the piano by David Horton.

About David Horton
David Horton is a keyboardist and composer with degrees from Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Oregon. He currently serves as the Director of Music and Worship Arts at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Seattle and is working towards his Master’s Degree at Luther Theological Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
