Come experience two debuts in one night. First, audiences will hear the debut of a talented violinist who will solo with the Ensign Symphony in Vaughan Williams’ beloved The Lark Ascending, and second, audiences will be treated to the Northwest premiere of Testament of Paul, the exquisite new oratorio by David Zabriskie.

The Lark Ascending is consistently voted as one of the top favorite orchestral works by classical listeners. Ensign Symphony is pleased to be having a youth violin competition to choose the violin soloist. Come cheer on the winner!

The new Ensign Symphony & Chorus fills a unique space in the panoramic performing arts scene of the Puget Sound region. Some 150 Ensign singers and instrumentalists, led by Rob Archibald and Fabio Pirola, perform a broad repertoire of joyous music in the tradition of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, BBC Symphony Chorus and Westminster Symphonic Choir, infusing life-long university, church and community ensemble training with a passion that is profoundly moving.
