The British Are Coming! The opening concert of the 2017-18 season, under the baton of Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs, features 2 English composers – William Walton and Edward Elgar.
The program opens with Will Walton's Orb and Sceptre. Next is Elgar's Cello Concerto featuring John Michel, cellist. To round out the program is Elgar's Enigma Variations.
There will be a stageside chat at 2 pm.
