The Federal Way Symphony will honor aspirations throughout the 20th century in its winter 2019 concert. John Williams’ Suite from Star Wars marked the beginning of a collaboration that has grown into an iconic universe. An American in Paris by George Gershwin salutes the hopes and dreams of 1920s artists in the City of Light, and soloist Adrian King will perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 as part of the Symphony’s Emerging Artists series.
