Join us at the OSU Museum of Art for a concert like no other. Bia Duo and the Akōtu Quartet will perform several pieces of music tied to works of art in "The State We're In Water". Enjoy this immersive experience filled with art and music.

Bia Duo was formed in 2018 in Stillwater, Oklahoma by saxophonists Alexis Seah and Brianna Buck. The pair met at Oklahoma State University and have since performed in regional and national conferences across the United States. Bia Duo is dedicated to commissioning and performing works by women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ composers.

Akōtu Quartet was established in 2019 at Oklahoma State University. The ensemble consists of saxophonists Brianna Buck, AJ Nguyen, Abraham Nuñez, and Matthew Floeter and had its debut as the first ensemble to perform in the newly constructed McKnight Center for the Performing Arts in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Since then, Akōtu Quartet has won third prize in the national MTNA chamber competition, received Honorable Mention in the NOLA Chamber Festival Emerging Ensemble Competition, and was a finalist in the Coltman Chamber Music Competition.
