Note from the Host: "Join us for a cross-continental celebration of the New Year, brought to you from one of the classical music capital’s of the world; Salzburg, Austria!
"We're thrilled to partner with our friends in California, "Musaics of the bay" for an HD New Year's Celebration from Salzburg, celebrating the music of fantasy and vision and a new World Premiere for the "Stay-at-Home Symposium," featuring world-class musicians including pianist Andrei Gologan, composer and violinist Luke Hsu, and cellist Simon Tetzlaff.
"This program features works by Beethoven, Kodaly, Schumann, and the World Premiere of a new commission for the “Stay-at-Home Symposium” by Luke Hsu, titled Piccolo Pezzo, inspired by a painting called Homage to Edmundo by Berkeley, CA-based painter Darril Tighe."
