Live from Konzerthaus Heidenheim, the Mozart-Operngala of the Heidenheim Opera Festival presents an evening of popular overtures, arias, and choruses from Die Zauberflöte, Le Nozze di Figaro, Idomeneo, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Così fan tutte.

The Cappella Aquileia, the orchestra of the Heidenheim Opera Festival that has "risen to the first rank of German festival orchestras" (Neue Musikzeitung), performs under the baton of festival director Marcus Bosch. The line-up features no fewer than five international singers, among them the Dutch bass Randall Jakobsh and the rising star of the Theater an der Wien Miriam Kutrowatz. They are joined by the VOKALWERK OH! chorus. The programme includes "Der Hölle Rache" (Queen of the Night), "In diesen heil'gen Hallen" (Sarastro), "Un'aura amorosa" (Ferrando), "Oh, wie will ich triumphieren" (Osmin), as well as the Chorus of the Janissaries from Die Entführung and no fewer than five overtures. This special live gala from the "world-class" (Opernglass) Heidenheim Opera Festival is a must for any lovers of Mozart's operas!
