An evening performance of traditional dance tunes from Ireland – jigs, reels, airs, polkas, hornpipes – beautifully played by a master of Irish music on the violin, Gerry O'Connor, accompanied by Richard Mandel on guitar. Gerry has performed with top Celtic traditional musicians such as the Chieftains, Bothy Band, Planxty, Boys of the Lough, and De Dannan, besides his own bands La Lugh, Skylark, and Oirialla. He will be accompanied by guitarist Richard Mandel, a first call accompanist for Celtic musicians touring the Bay area.
The broadcast will take place at 7pm Pacific.
