Felix Mendelssohn – String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major, Op. 12
For this performance, the quartet will play Michi Wiancko’s To Unpathed Waters, Uncharted Shores, a recent commission for them by Bay Chamber Concerts with the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, alongside George Walker’s “Lyric” from his String Quartet No. 1, and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major, Op. 12.
Opening for the Jupiter Quartet is the Middlebury College Choir, directed by Jeffrey Buettner, Professor of Music.
Opening act begins at 7:15pm Eastern / 4:15pm Pacific; the Jupiter Quartet's featured performance begins at 7:30pm Eastern / 4:30pm Pacific.
