Key to Change presents its annual Solo String Festival on April 9-11, 2021, virtually from Benaroya Hall.

Over a three-day weekend, forty-one underserved student musicians (many who are of color) who live and attend school in South King County will perform and compete for prizes, college scholarships, and an opportunity to perform live on Classical King FM 98.1. Students representing six different school districts will perform in either Taper Auditorium or Nordstrom Recital Hall live for three renowned judges who will listen to each student virtually. The Solo String Festival will be free to access through Key to Change's website.
