"We're all in this together"
The Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra presents an education event for the Bellevue School District, featuring music from around the world that inspired great composers. This concert presents a timeline of music history and showcases different sections of the orchestra.

Program
Ludwig van Beethoven – "Turkish March" from The Ruins of Athens, Op. 113
With a demonstration of Turkish music on percussion instruments.

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov – "Song of India" from Sadko
Tommy Dorsey's theme song! With a demonstration of music from India – featuring the trombone.

Giacomo Puccini – "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot
With a string section demonstration by a Chinese composer.

Aaron Copland – El Salón México
With a companion Mexican composed piece featuring the clarinet section.

There will be two sessions: one at 10:00 AM, the other at 11:15 AM.
