In a celebration of women, mothers, and the Mother Earth, the Ballard Civic Orchestra will virtually perform original music by María José Félix in a collaboration with Washington State Poet Laureate Claudia Castro Luna and artist Blanca Santander. World-renowned Mexican-American concert pianist Daniela Liebman will also joing Ballard Civic Orchestra members to perform Manuel Ponce's first Piano Concerto. Paula Madrigal. conducting. Thanks to City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods grant to the Voces Latinas Project.
