Shannon Sea – Hannah Elias II

Born out of the desire to foster cultural curiosity, Castle of our Skins celebrates Black artistry through classical music. 18 composers who identify as Black or part of the African Diaspora answered the Black Composer Miniature Challenge set by Castle of Our Skins (COOS), writing 30-second “miniature” pieces for solo piano, solo viola, or viola-piano duo. These mini world premieres happen every Friday from through September 4 on both Facebook and Instagram. Check back each Friday and stay connected with COOS and Black artistry this Spring/Summer!

The livestream begins at 9am Pacific / 12pm Eastern.
