Online event

Radiance is going VIRTUAL. While we can't share this music with you in person, we're taking this opportunity to try something new. Join us for our first ever interactive live concert. Not only will you get to hear great choral music featuring local groups singing local composers, but you'll also be able to comment and ask the directors and composers questions! Grab a drink and join us on Saturday, June 27th at 7pm Pacific for this virtual concert, found on our Facebook page! (6:45pm for the pre-concert show)

PROGRAM

A performance video from each of our three guest groups: Graveyard Girls, SoundCity Singers, and Mägi Ensemble, and a brief talkback with each group’s director
Virtual Choir world premiere performance of Love Tender Breathing Fragrant by local composer Stacey Philipps, performed by Radiance
Virtual choir of all four groups performing two pieces by local composers: We Thank Thee by Kari Cruver Medina and The Tree by Greg Bartholomew
Q&A with the local composers featured in the program

The livestream will take place at 7pm Pacific. Join the Radiance board for pre-show drinks at 6:45pm, where we will be discussing our inaugural season as Radiance, our favorite performances this year, and what's coming next season!

Watch the livestream here: https://www.facebook.com/radiancechoir/

The event is free and available to the public, but please consider purchasing a “virtual ticket” as you would for an in-person concert. If arts organizations are to survive this pandemic and continue creating and sharing our music, we need your financial support.

Here's how you can help:
1. Consider purchasing a "ticket" for this concert.
2. Make a donation

Thank you for your support.

About Mägi Ensemble

The Mägi Ensemble is a professional soprano-alto vocal ensemble that specializes in music from the Baltic region of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. We perform and record music from these countries and promote new choral works from Baltic women composers. Our vision is to use the power of music to connect with the community and continue to celebrate cultural heritage through the arts. We exemplify the values of cultural understanding, community, quality and commitment. Our philosophy as both a specialized repertoire ensemble and a treble ensemble is to demonstrate the effect that music can have for empowerment, both in social responsibility and gender identity.
