Nat Chaitkin, cello

Note from the host: "The best performances are when everyone feels at home, so why not have everyone come to my house? And what better music to feel at home with than the J.S. Bach Suites? I’ll give a guided tour of a “SuperSuite” (my favorite movements from all the Suites, followed by a complete performance of the 3rd Suite in C. Along the way, we'll see his impact on modern pop music, fitness training, grocery shopping, and even time travel!

"To start, we'll take a guided tour of a "Super Suite" of my favorite Bach cello pieces, and we'll learn some surprising things about him as well. We all know Bach's tremendous impact on music, but he also influenced modern parenting, aerobic exercise and grocery shopping, and may have mastered time travel as well. In the second half, I'll stop talking and play one Suite straight through."

The livestream will take place at 3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific. Broadcasting live from Chicago, IL.

$10+ minimum payment to musicians, $3 reservation fee.
