An instrument with many monumental works to its name, the violin has also inspired composers to write some wonderful little gems of music. "Little Favorites" encompasses the best of the Romantic era's short works for the violin. Feel introspective with Kreisler's nostalgic Liebesleid and Vecsey's soulful Valse Triste, find some calm in the storm with Milhaud's peaceful Le printemps, and get excited with William Kroll's upbeat Banjo and Fiddle and much more.

Violinist Aviva Chertok collaborates with pianist Shirley Wu from Montreal to bring you an evening of livestreaming fun! The musicians met while studying at the Royal College of Music in London, U.K. and have been working internationally on projects ever since – even in these socially distanced times. Aviva will perform solo, as well as with Shirley's specially recorded accompaniment.

The pre-concert Zoom starts at 6:30pm Central / 4:30pm Pacific, then it's off to a 7pm Central / 5pm Pacific live-stream, and then it's back to Zoom for a Q&A with the ladies. (Special links will be provided for Zoom and YouTube.)

RSVP for details/livestream link.

$10+ minimum payment to musicians, $3 reservation fee.
