Ludwig van Beethoven – Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61

Note from the host:

"Dear friends,

"As the music season would usually start around this time, I am empowered to continue presenting this series of super HD audio and video streams from my New York home. With musician friends returning for the start of music schools, I look forward to featuring some of them on this series as Mackenzie travels to Finland.

"In this program [and in Mackenzie's absence], I share with you the fruits of my continuing study of Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4 and Beethoven's Violin Concerto. Both are in the delightful and joyous key of D major. Joining me is my friend and phenomenal collaborative pianist Jinhee Park, a staff collaborator and fellow Doctorate student at The Juilliard School. By presenting these concertos as a chamber music collaboration, we want to shift the focus on these soloist, diva-centric works back to the beauty and intricacies of orchestral scores.

"Tune in as we launch [but really continue] a "virtual season" with this series and share with you more plans for future! See you soon.
Max"

The livestream will take place at 7:30pm Eastern / 4:30pm Pacific. Broadcasting live from NYC.
