Choroloco has been developing its own voice in the world of Brazilian choro for over 12 years, adding our own blend of classical, jazz, and various folk musics to the mix, always with an ear towards maintaining the integrity of the original music. We will be playing music from a repertoire spanning over 100 years, from the early choro days of Ernesto Nazareth to contemporary composers such as Hermeto Pascoal and Douglas Lora as well as our own compositions. Choroloco is a trio comprised of Bandolim/cavaquinho, seven string guitar, and pandeiro/vibraphone.
The livestream will take place at 7:30pm Pacific. Broadcasting live from a backyard in North Seattle, WA.
