Classical guitarist Mark Hilliard Wilson invites you to join him for a virtual concert exploring the theme of togetherness. Seattle, where Mark lives, will have been in quarantine for 130 days by the time he starts his performance July 17th at 7pm Pacific. It is important to take care of the body, and social distancing has been proven to be effective in limiting the spread of the virus Covid 19. Seattle's loss of life has not reached the dramatic number that we worried about at the start of the quarantine, but we do need to acknowledge we need to care for the heart and mind. Mark's program will explore the theme of togetherness across genres. It will feature music for the audience to listen to, reflect on, participate in; at the end, sharing thoughts would be most welcome in this unique concert experience.

The livestream will take place at 7pm Pacific.

Purchase tickets for details/livestream link.

Tickets: $15 "Early Bird", $20 Regular, $25 Star Supporter, $100 Special Dedicatee

About Mark Hilliard Wilson

Mark Hilliard Wilson is an active performer, teacher, and director of the Seattle Guitar Orchestra, which he founded in 1999. As cathedral guitarist at Seattle's St. James Cathedral, he has performed there weekly since 2006. Wilson has written or arranged more than 200 works, and avidly explores new venues for the performance of classical music while addressing contemporary issues through concert programming. Music has always been everything to Wilson, from the barrel organs he heard in his childhood in Holland to the symphony orchestras in Washington, DC and country bands in Weiser, Idaho. He continues to study and embrace the wonder of new places and the creativity of the wonderful artists of every stripe in the world.
