Beethoven is undoubtedly one of the greatest pianists-composers of all time. However, his early training and even his first job did not involve much use of the early fortepiano. This lecture-recital explores sonorities of clavichord and harpsichord with rarely-played repertoire Beethoven wrote before his move to Vienna in 1792.
