NakedEye clarinetist Christy Banks premieres now more than ever by Monica Pearce for the project Soloing2020. Other pieces will be included TBD. Post-premiere chat with composer and performer to follow.
About the series: Soloing2020 is a new commissioning project inviting composers to write solo pieces for NakedEye. For each commission, the composer will receive $600 to write a new piece and the performer will receive $600 to perform and record the it.
This project was born out of a need to create and connect despite our isolation. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations go to the artists.
The livestream will take place at 9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific.
