Tune in at 5:30pm Pacific (7:30pm Central) on Thursday, July 9th for a live ROCOreveal demonstration with composer and bandoneon soloist Richard Scofano – featured in ROCO's Season 16 opener on September 26th!
From his home in San Diego, he'll join ROCO Founder/Artistic Director Alecia Lawyer to chat about his new work for chamber orchestra, La Tierra Sin Mal ("The Land Without Evil"), which ROCO will premiere with him.
Go behind the music as he discusses its inspiration, and introduces us to the bandoneon (a free-reed bellowed instrument) - including Q&A and a few live tunes (perhaps even a tango!)
