“Vocally towering” (Opera Today), baritone Theo Hoffman is a rising star, capturing the hearts of fans across the nation and globe. Previously scheduled to make his McCaw Hall debut in our 2020 production of La bohème, he will now make his Seattle Opera debut in our Songs of Summer series.

His program None To Watch Us: Songs of Connection and Longing balances works by Samuel Barber, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Gabriel Fauré with selections by Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Recognized for his nuance and range, Theo is the recent winner of the Sara Tucker Study Grant from the Richard Tucker Music Foundation.
