Music Center of the Northwest: 'Messiah' Sing & Play-along

George Frideric Handel – Messiah, HWV 47

Music Center of the Northwest presents their participatory event Messiah Sing & Play-along! Seated directly behind the orchestra, singers are invited to join together in the arias (there are no soloists) as well as the choruses. Instrumentalists are known to leave their orchestra seats to sing their favorite arias with the rest of the vocal section. The evening begins with a few carols to warm up the voices, and concludes with coffee and cookies.

Instrumental music is provided, as well as a limited number of vocal scores that are available to borrow for the evening. Please bring a generous donation of non-perishable food or cash for FamilyWorks Food Bank.

This event is free and open to the public.
