With music, song, and poetry, “Tipping Point” explores the struggles of the human condition and the strength of the human spirit – from the immigrant seeking a new life to the cry of a frightened child caught in a storm; from the exploitation of a woman’s love to the finality of a gunshot. These stories are told through the works of Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt, Gustav Mahler, Giacomo Puccini, Alfredo Casella, Leonard Bernstein, Woody Guthrie, Graham Nash, and contemporary composer Kristof Iverson. Against a visual backdrop of real-life events, the message of “Tipping Point” is one of possibility, transformation, and hope.
