The first program of the Olympic Chamber Music Fellowship focuses on the music that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed in Vienna during the final ten years of his life. Two of the works were written for Anton Stadler, a Viennese clarinetist who inspired Mozart to write a number of compositions for the instrument. Alexander Fiterstein, winner of the Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition, makes his OMF debut.
There will be an interactive question & answer session with the artists immediately following the performance.
OMF donors are invited to meet the artists at a reception following the performance in recognition of their incredible generosity.
