Opera On Tap Seattle and Seattle Art Song Society present Connections, a fundraiser featuring Gabriel Kahane's cheeky Craigslistlieder plus classics from the art song cannon.
Come out to support these two thriving musical organizations in the Seattle scene.
Seattle Art Song Society's mission is to empower audiences to create and enjoy expressions of the human experience through the unity of poetry and music. SASS promotes recitals featuring artists from the Puget Sound Region, and recitals that feature world-renowned artists. They encourage the development of new works to be premiered at recitals. All recitals feature works by popular composers alongside new and lesser-known works. Seattle Art Song Society was established in 2015 by General & Artistic Director Brian C. Armbrust.
Opera on Tap Seattle is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or elitist art form by bringing it to bars. Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera's best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Ages 21 and over. Doors open at 6pm.

Opera On Tap is Seattle's original opera in a bar. They take a local, grassroots, and a very fun approach to community outreach in the name of their art form. Their goal is to make opera accessible to all people – in their own, exciting way.
