St. James Cathedral Resident Ensemble Opus 7 welcomes the holiday season with a stunning program of choral music for Advent and Christmas. This concert features Gerald Finzi’s Magnificat, selections from Frank Ferko’s Hildegard Motets and Benjamin Britten’s Christ’s Nativity, John Rutter’s Hymn to the Creator of Light, Wisconsin composer Nancy Wertsch’s Antiphon for God the Father, and music by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů. Pacific Northwest composers will be represented by Jessica French, Peter Hallock and Opus 7’s own composer-in-residence, John Muehleisen. Please join us as we present sublime choral sounds of the season with Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble under the baton of Artistic Director Loren Pontén.

Reserved seating is available by advance donation.

Suggested donation is $40 in advance for Preferred Seating, $25 in advance, $30 at the door for General Seating, $20 in advance, $24 at the door for Seniors and students donate as able at the door with student ID.
