Aaron Westman, baroque violin
Anna Marsh, baroque bassoon
Henry Lebedinsky, organ

At the turn of the 17th century, a new style of music began to push the boundaries of instrumental writing, demanding more from both musicians and their instruments. A significant amount of this new music was based on improvisation on popular songs of the time, much like American classic Jazz. Baroque violinist Aaron Westman and baroque bassoonist Anna Marsh join organist Henry Lebedinsky for a fun, illuminating, and even breathtaking exploration of this repertoire, including music from Italy, England, Germany, and Poland.

This concert is sponsored by the Anacortes Arts Foundation. Tickets are $25 at the door, children and students FREE. More information at (360) 293-4930.
