The violin first arrived in Scotland in the 17th century, and quickly became established in musical life both at court and in the countryside. Explore the intersection of art and folk music in the Celtic traditions, from high Baroque to high-spirited reels, jigs, and Strathspeys, across the ages and across the Atlantic, from 18th century Edinburgh to Cape Breton, Appalachia, and the Pacific Northwest. Renowned violinist/fiddlers David Greenberg and Brandon Vance join harpsichordist/guitarist Henry Lebedinsky to end the Underground season on a high note!
