The Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1987 as the Port Townsend Community Orchestra. Orchestra members are your friends, neighbors, and co-workers – the people you see and work with every day in your community. They are also musicians who volunteer their time to rehearse together each week and strive to give the community beautiful music to enjoy.
