Greg Patillo, flute
Peter Seymour, double bass
Eric Stephenson, cello

Project Trio is a high energy chamber music ensemble made up of three virtuosic musicians from Brooklyn, New York: Greg Patillo on flute, Peter Seymour on double bass, and Eric Stephenson on cello. Hailed by the Wall Street Journal for their “wide appeal, subversive humor and first-rate playing,” the genre-bending ensemble combines classical music with hip-hop, jazz-rock, and pop.

Their fresh take on Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf gives it a new modern context. “We thought the piece would be great one to riff on,” said Pattillo. “Our version takes place in Brooklyn instead of Russia, and we turn all of the animals into people who are just hanging out with their friends.”

Admission: $20 general , $15 Town Hall members, $10 youth (21 and under), $5 TeenTix members.
