Samuel Coleridge-Taylor – Clarinet Quintet in F-sharp minor, Op. 10

Celebrate Black artistry through music and learn about important stories and figures in Black history in a special collaboration between Castle of Our Skins, Winsor Music, and Project STEP. The program also features the underrepresented British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and his Clarinet Quintet. This is a free event. No registration is needed.

From classrooms to concert halls, Castle of our Skins invites exploration into Black heritage and culture, spotlighting both unsung and celebrated figures of past and present. Through intergenerational and interdisciplinary concerts, Castles’ themes range from Black love, African American quilting, and Black Feminism to freedom, civil rights, visual arts, and Black excellence.

The broadcast will take place at 7pm Eastern / 4pm Pacific.
